Camp for players rising 7th-12th grade.

Cost:
$620 Overnight Camper
$530 Commuter Camper
(There will be a $300 deposit for both options)

2022 Summer Camp Schedule 

06/20 Monday:
12:00pm - 1:00pm – Check-In/Move-In to Dorms
1:30pm-  Camp Meeting
2:00pm-4:00pm- Lacrosse Session I
4:00pm-6:00pm - Dinner 
6:30pm-9:00pm Night Games 
9:00pm – Check-Out for the night/Return to Dorms

06/21 Tuesday:
7:30am-8:30am- Breakfast
9:00am-11:00am- Lacrosse Session II

11:00am-1:00pm-  Lunch 
2:00pm-4:00pm – Lacrosse Session III
4:00pm-5:30pm – Dinner
6:30pm-9:00pm – Night Games 
9:00pm- Commuter Camper Check-Out/ Return to Dorms


06/22 Wednesday:
7:30am-8:30am – Breakfast
9:00am-11:30 am- Games

11:30 am Check-Out/ Clean Dorms

Registration Deadline: June 15th OR until spaces fill up. 

Meals will be included from JPJ or Catered. Commuter campers can bring their own food or have food dropped off. 

Lodging will be at Lambeth Dorm Apartments. Two athletes per room and six athletes per apartment.

Camp Overview

- Sessions will be individual skill-based, small number drills, and games. 
- Head and Assistant Coaches at every session (Former coaches include those from UVA, Maryland, Delaware, Canisius, US Team, George Mason and players from UVA, Penn State, Syracuse, JMU, and the US Team)
- Full-time Athletic trainers on duty at all times

What To Expect

Campers must be ready for 6-8 hours of rigorous activity. Cross trainers/turf shoes are recommended for play on artificial surfaces while cleats are recommended for grass play.

Covid Policies and Procedures

Campers will need to attest that they do not have signs/symptoms of COVID and will undergo a temperature screening at registration.
-If campers have been recently diagnosed with COVID, they must be symptom free and 14 days post positive test to participate.


University Covid Statement for Parents/Guardians
The University of Virginia holds the health and safety of its community as paramount, there is no guarantee that a minor child will not be exposed to or infected with COVID-19 during participation in this camp, program,  or associated activities. Please review the CDC’s information on the benefits of getting a COVID-19 vaccine (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/vaccine- benefits.html) and understand that, if you choose to allow a minor child to participate,  the physical presence of the child as well as participation and utilization of facilities, services, and programs at the University of Virginia may carry heightened risks that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care and reasonable efforts taken to avoid and mitigate those risks. Also, understand that a minor child may be at higher risk for severe complications from COVID-19 if a minor child has particular conditions identified by the CDC. Despite these risks, if you choose to have a minor participate in the camp, clinic, and associated activities. Please read and fully understand the risks associated with participation and you voluntarily and knowingly assume those risks for a minor child as a condition of participation.


Check-in/Transportation

Each camper will be required to be checked-in/checked-out by an authorized individual (written in on registration process). That individual will be asked to show valid identification and sign for the camper for both the check-in/check-out process. 

If a camper is 18 they are allowed to sign themselves out and drive their own car to camp. A written notice is needed to allow this to happen.  All car keys will be collected at registration and returned at the end of the camp. Daily transportation is on foot. The ONLY car you may get into is that of a camp coach or athletic trainer.


Medical Attention

Full-time trainers are on duty to administer to minor injuries and sickness. For more serious issues, the University Hospital facilities are available.
